J-pop singer Namie Amuro and the global fashion chain H&M will launch the Namie Amuro x H&M collection later this month.

Amuro is a Japanese superstar celebrating her 25th year in show business whose music and fashion continue to inspire fans of all ages throughout Japan and Asia. In the letter asking the songstress to become the campaign ambassador - - released today as part of the announcement of the collection in Japanese newspapers - - H&M Japan CEO Lucas Seifert writes that Amuro has shown through her way of life that “many dreams are not impossible” and calls her a role model and fashion icon who is “truly a shining star.”

The Namie Amuro x H&M fashion line will offer summery styles featuring bold floral prints and feminine, sophisticated silhouettes. The collection will go on sale Apr. 25 ahead of Golden Week in Japan in stores and online.
