Rapper and singer SKY-HI is set to release his first solo live concert DVD/Blu-ray SKY-HI Tour 2017 Final "WELIVE" in BUDOKAN on Sept. 27.

SKY-HI (aka AAA’s Mitsuhiro Hidaka) performed 15 shows in 13 cities across Japan for his solo tour, and this release features the final stop at the legendary Nihon Budokan that took place May 2.

He displayed his artistry from start to finish in his first solo Budokan show, rapping, singing, dancing, playing the guitar and piano, and joking with the crowd in between songs. His electric performance combined with the outstanding musicianship of his band Super Flyers enthralled the sold-out crowd of 10,000 that packed the historic venue, and the video captures the positive energy and enthusiasm that filled the air that night.

The bonus feature is a behind-the-scenes documentary of the WELIVE tour, and the concert segment also contains a separate audio track in which SKY-HI and Kensuke from Super Flyers attempt to offer serious commentary but end up exchanging friendly banter instead.

Beginning Oct. 11, SKY-HI will embark on his next tour, SKY-HI Round A Ground 2017, which will play 24 domestic and international shows including stops in LA, NY, Paris, London, Taiwan and Hong-Kong.
